Perform. Create. Educate.
(NYS Certified Dance Teacher) graduated Skidmore College magna cum- laude with Honors in Dance while also studying Early Childhood Education and Business. Under the direction of Kathleen Isaac, Nicole completed her MA in Dance Education (summa cum- laude) as a scholarship student at Hunter College’s Arnhold Graduate Dance Education Program. Nicole has worked with many notable choreographers including Robert Battle & Camille A. Brown. She currently works as a freelance dancer with the Matthew Westerby Company and Valerie Green/Dance Entropy.
Nicole’s passion for performing runs just as deep for sharing the joy of dance through teaching. She currently teaches for Ailey’s Arts In Education & Community Programs, The Ailey School, and Ballet and Beyond. In 2020 she became the founding dance teacher at P.S.17 where she developed a robust dance program for grades 1-5. She resigned to spend more time dancing and with her two human creations - her young boys. Nicole enjoys choreographing her own work, which has been presented throughout NYC. In 2018 she created NK&D / a movement company - a dance company that focuses on bringing accessible dance to diverse audiences.
